God gave us these passages not to have us spend all our time focused on the future, but that we would spend our time focused on the present.

1. The end of the world will be preceded by an especially powerful and evil final empire. 

Daniel 7:2-8; Daniel 7:17

2. The final evil Empire will be led by a satanic ruler who will persecute God's people.

Daniel 7:23-25 (Antichrist)

 3 1/2 year period = Great Tribulation

3. God will bring an end to this evil empire and its satanic ruler and will inaugurate an eternal kingdom established by His son Jesus Christ. 

Daniel 7:13-14

We have the first mention in our bibles of the second coming of Jesus Christ, 550 years before he was born. 

Daniel chapter 7 has been given to us in our BIbles ultimately to give us hope.
